About the Rotary Club of Albany
The Rotary Club of Albany, New York was organized on April 15, 1913, the 68th Rotary Club
organized in the world. As of March 1, 2003, The Albany Rotary Club has 117 members, 36 women
and 81 men ranging in age from 24 to 98.
All meetings are held on Wednesday at 12:15pm at Wolferts Roost
Country Club, 120 Van Rensselaer Blvd, Albany.
Each meeting provides opportunity for
fellowship, club business and an interesting speaker or presentation. The Rotary Club of Albany
along with 46 other clubs in northeastern New York make up Rotary District 7190. There are 1800
Rotarians in the district, the Albany Club is the largest and oldest.
